The Windows installation packages of Impact Acquire have been written and are compiled using WiX (http://wixtoolset.org/). WiX will in no form be installed on the target system, but since the installation packages contain a runtime from the WiX toolset some CVEs might in fact have impact on the target system, which is why this section is present in this chapter and not in Used Third Party Software - During Development.
