The mvVirtualDevice device package can be used to evaluate Impact Acquire functions and even implement the hardware specific part without having the Balluff imaging hardware installed yet.

For this reason the following components are recommended:

Windows

The following versions of Windows are supported officially:

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit, 64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11

Other Windows versions might work as well but will not be tested on a regular basis.

macOS
