Introduction

The Virtual Device package of the Impact Acquire SDK is meant to allow developers to evaluate SDK functions and even implement hardware specific parts without the actual being hardware installed yet. The Virtual Device can either generate various test patterns or can capture images from the local hard disk and therefore a real use-case can be simulated. Afterwards the actual hardware can be installed and used very quickly. Since Virtual Device is a software-only solution and is a part of the Impact Acquire SDK, it is available for all supported platforms and operating systems. Everything not explicitly mentioned here can be found in the Impact Acquire SDK manual of the corresponding programming language. This includes all the legal aspects like the license agreement, the copyright notice, the disclaimer and the warranty information as well as installation hints that apply to this library as well.

Select the programming language of your choice from this list Related Manuals for additional information. Please read these carefully before using Virtual Device instances.
