Which PC power settings are useful and possibly necessary?

Symptoms

Wrong power settings can lead to different problems like:

  • unstable link speed,
  • camera is available in ImpactControlCenter but streaming is not possible, or
  • differences seen between cold start and warm start of the PC.

Cause

Embedded vision components are optimized products. Alternating power states can affect the connection between devices.

Resolution

Please check the following settings, some or all of which may be needed to cure the problem.
