None Of The Multi-Core Acquisition Optimizer Properties Are Available

Symptoms

None of the properties described here are available for a GigE Vision™ camera the application shall work with.

Cause

Potential reasons for this include:

1. The camera doesn't support certain special features needed for the Balluff Multi-Core Acquisition Optimizer to operate or the Impact Acquire driver doesn't support the feature. See here for supported products and versions.
2. The NIC doesn't support RSS.
3. RSS features on the NIC have not been configured properly.

Resolution

• Make sure the camera supports the required features and if needed update the firmware of the device to a suitable version.
• Update Impact Acquire to a suitable version.
• Check for updated NIC drivers.
• Refer to Network Interface Card Settings.
• Check the log-files or provide the combined with information about what has been configured on the NIC as well as detailed information about the NIC and the used NIC driver and everything else that might help to the Balluff support team using our Service Desk at https://www.balluff.com/en-de/contact-support.
